The visit will begin at 11:15 a.m. on the esplanade of the Former University, and two must-see spaces in Osuna will be visited. One of them is The Colegiata Church of Osuna, which is located in a Renaissance building and houses one of the most interesting collections of Baroque paintings. The Colegiata Church is built of stone, with the so-called Puerta del Sol standing out among its three doors. Inside, valuable carvings, Flemish panels from the 16th century, interesting pieces of gold work and a magnificent collection of paintings are exhibited.
On the other hand, Coto las Canteras is the highest promontory in the town and has served to supply the ashlars with which houses, palaces, and churches in our town have been built. Its ochre color and porous texture have lent its color and flavor to the city from the Turdetans until the mid-20th century.
Coto Las Canteras has witnessed the tradition and customs of the city since ancient times. Currently, it houses a collection of belongings and tools used for the extraction and transportation of stones.
*Due to capacity reasons at the Colegiata, the visits will be carried out in two groups and the guides who will accompany them will be in charge of dividing the groups equally and carrying out the guided tours of the Colegiata and Coto las Canteras.
